Haas Automation
offers a wide range of CNC VMCs - one just right to meet the demands of your
machine shop.
When Gene Haas introduced the Haas VF-1 vertical machining
center in 1988, he established an industry benchmark for high-quality,
high-value CNC technology. Today, there’s a Haas Automation vertical
machining center (VMC) to meet your needs, whatever your requirements.
Machine travels range from 8" x 8" x 8" (xyz) for the diminutive Office
Mill, to 150" x 50" x 50" for the massive VS-3, with nearly 70 models in
between.
Haas VMCs feature high-performance vector drive spindles, high-torque
brushless servos on all axes and rigid cast-iron construction. The standard
spindle speed for most Haas VMCs is 7,500 rpm, with options of 10K, 12K, 15K
or even 30K. Gear-driven models provide torque ratings to 250 ft-lb on
40-taper machines, and 450 ft-lb on 50-taper machines. Haas CNC machines are
flexible enough for both high-torque, heavy-duty cutting, as well as the
most-demanding high-speed machining operations.
The Haas VMC line also includes a number of specialty machines, including
moldmaking machining centers, 5-axis trunnion machines, a high-speed
mill/drill center, automatic pallet changers, gantry mills and sheet
routers.
Haas TM Series CNC Toolroom Mills offer affordable entry into CNC, and
provide an easy transition from manual to CNC machining. They come standard
with the Haas Intuitive Programming System, a proprietary conversational
programming system that makes set up and operation easy – even without
knowledge of G-code.
These are just a few of the innovations that make Haas Automation the
high-productivity, high-value leader. And the legendary Haas control makes
every VMC easy to operate. Built with the operator and programmer in mind,
it’s packed with intuitive features you won’t find on any other CNC
machining center.
Every Haas VMC provides the features and performance you need – making it
the soundest investment you’ve ever considered, and providing more utility,
flexibility and productivity than you’ve ever imagined.
